DESCRIPTION

This beaded sweater is a showstopper. Full stop. With eyelets and purl bumps for the perfect surface texture and beads that totally steal the show, this sweater is sure to have people asking ”Where did you get that?” Made with 3-5” of positive ease in mind, this sweater was designed for everyday wear. Simple and elegant with a double brimmed collar and slightly billowing sleeves, it can be dressed down with some ripped jeans and short booties, or dressed up to wear to the office.

Knit top down, in the round, and seamless, this pattern is written in nine sizes – XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). It is suggested that you highlight your size so you know which stitch count to follow. Model pictured is wearing the size M and is 5’7”, 152 pounds and has a bust of 36.5” in circumference for reference.

How to choose your size: Find your bust measurements below. and knit the size according to it.

SIZES - Your body measurement

XS – 28-30” bust
S – 32-34” bust
M – 36-38” bust
L – 40-42” bust
XL – 44-46” bust
2XL – 48-50” bust
3XL – 52-54” bust
4XL – 56-58” bust
5XL – 60-62” bust

Pattern has been tested in all sizes except for 5X. If you would like to test that size and have a bust of 60-62", please send me an email at knitatude@gmail.com.

DIFFICULTY

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate. You will need to know how to cast on, knit and purl stitch both in the round, increase, decrease, bead (there is a video in the pattern), bind off

MATERIALS NEEDED

- 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) (4, 5, 5, 6) skeins of Hobbii Unicorn Solid or 1055 (1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) (1500, 1650, 1850, 2305) yards to 965 (1006, 1097, 1188, 1280) (1371, 1508, 1691, 2108) meters of size 1 fingering weight yarn
- 6 (6, 7, 7, 8) (9, 10, 10, 11) skeins of Hobbii Friends Kid Silk Mohair or 1055 (1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) (1500, 1650, 1850, 2305) yards to 965 (1006, 1097, 1188, 1280) (1371, 1508, 1691, 2108 meters of size 1 lace weight yarn
- Size US 6/4mm knitting 16”/40cm circular needles
- Size US 6/4mm knitting needles 24”/60cm circular needles (4+5XL may benefit from 32”/82cm)
- Size US 3/3.25mm Double Pointed Needles
- 340 (356, 386, 400, 430) (450, 486, 510, 528) 6/0 seed beads
- 1mm crochet hook
- 1 stitch marker
- Scissors
- Darning needle
