Hot Toddy Hoodie

CA$10.50

DESCRIPTION

Boyfriend sweater? YES PLEASE! This hoodie is the perfect lounge-about knit for your hubby or friend. Don’t be fooled – though it's designed with men’s measurements, it makes a great unisex pattern for anyone. Knit with sleek and simple stockinette, this pullover includes a classic rounded hood with drawstrings and ribbed cuffs. But the best part? On either sides of the arms, body and down the centre of the hood and the back, there's a small slipped stitch detail that adds a little "je ne sais quoi" to pull this gorgeous sweater together. Designed for my husband Todd, this hoodie pattern was at his request and his specifications. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Knit top down and in the round, this seamless hoodie is knit in a raglan style and has 4-6" of positive ease designed in. You will work the yoke in the round, place the sleeves on hold, continue to work the body and then pick up the sleeves and work them last. Once the main form of the sweater is completed, you will pick up the cast on edge and create the hood, finishing with a double brim effect on the front. Last, but not least, you will knit up an i-cord drawstring.

This pattern is written in 9 sizes – XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). The model pictured is wearing the size L and is 5’10”, and has a chest circumference of 42” in circumference, for reference.
