DESCRIPTION
The Confetti Cake Pullover is a top-down seamless raglan that is intended to be worn with 8½-10½" (22-27 cm) of positive ease. With its wider balloon sleeves, a tailored crewneck that won’t choke you, a folded collar and hem, and a drawstring to create that cinched effect, it has just the right amount of detail to hold your attention while challenging your knitting skills and remaining beginner-friendly.
This pattern is written in 9 sizes – XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). The model pictured is wearing the size M and is 5’7” (1,74 m), 148 pounds (67 kilos), and has a bust of 36½” (93 cm) in circumference, for reference.
How to choose your size: Find your bust measurements below and knit the size according to it.

You will need to know how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, work in the round, increase, decrease, pick up stitches, bind off, crochet bind off (video tutorial available in pattern).
MATERIALS NEEDED
- 4 (5, 5, 6, 6) (7, 8, 8, 9) balls of We Are Knitters Petite Wool (100% wool; 153 yards/100 g)
OR approximately 610 (675, 745, 820, 895) (985, 1080, 1185, 1305) yards / 560 (620, 680, 750, 820) (900, 990, 1085, 1195) meters of bulky weight yarn, category 5
- US 11 (8 mm) circular needles, 20” (51 cm) long for start of yoke & collar
- US 11 (8 mm) circular needles, 32” (81 cm) long (4XL and 5XL may prefer a 40” [102 cm] cord)
- US 10 (6 mm) circular needles, 32” (81 cm) long (4XL and 5XL may prefer a 40” [102 cm] cord)
- US 10 (6 mm) circular needles, 16” (41 cm) long for the collar
- US 8 (5 mm) DPNs for the cuffs & I-cord
- J-10 (6 mm) crochet hook
- L-11 (8 mm) crochet hook
- 5 stitch markers (1 a different color for BOR)
