Turas Celtic Scarf - Pattern

CA$8.25

DESCRIPTION
Cables were always been my end goal as a beginner knitter. The twists and turns are so elegant and depict a journey from one end to the other. So many paths crossing. Turas; means “journey” in Gaelic, which I found quite fitting for this scarf. This was actually my first design with Celtic knot, and I can tell you; if you can focus, follow stitches, and trust the pattern, this scarf will knit up like a dream. Designed with the cable as your center piece, a two stranded cable and eyelets adorn each side. For a finishing touch they are bookended with a seed stitch border. With the sheer width of this scarf, and its stunning tassels, this piece is unbelievably perfect.

This pattern is knit flat, and can be made to any length. Please check out the notes on page 4 of the pattern for some suggestions on how to modify.

This pattern has both a written and chart version.
