DESCRIPTION
Knit bottom up, this easy and beginner friendly knitted tank is recommended to be worn with 0-2” of positive ease. Meaning it’s the perfect neutral-ease tank that fits well but doesn’t feel too constrictive. With thicker straps to cover any bra, and a slightly scooped V-neckline, the decreases create the prettiest little bit of detail that makes this design shine – just like you.
This pattern is written in 9 sizes – XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). It is suggested that you highlight your size, so you know which stitch count to follow. The model pictured is wearing the size M and is 5’6”, and has a chest circumference of 36.5”.
How to choose your size: Find your bust measurements below. and knit the size according to it.
SIZES
XS – 28-30” bust
S – 32-34” bust
M – 36-38” bust
L – 40-42” bust
XL – 44-46” bust
2XL – 48-50” bust
3XL – 52-54” bust
4XL – 56-58” bust
5XL – 60-62” bust
Pattern has been tested in all except for 5X. If you have a 60-62' bust circumference and would like to test that size, please send me an email at knitatude@gmail.com.
DIFFICULTY
Advanced Beginner. You will need to know how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, work in the round, work flat, increase, decrease, bind off and three-needle-bind-off.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
•2 (2, 2, 3, 3) (3, 3, 4, 4) balls of Lion Brand Yarn Cottino (“Goose Down” colorway pictured here)
OR approximately 475 (525, 575, 615, 680) (730, 825, 900, 990) yards / 435 (480, 525, 565, 620) (670, 755, 825, 905) meters of light DK weight yarn, category 3
•US 4/3.5 mm circular needles
•US 6/4 mm circular needles
